Three-Ingredient Chicken and Sausage Kabobs
Looking for something a little different to serve at your next bbq? These family-friendly and fun chicken and sausage kabobs are the perfect answer!

It’s summertime, and as you may already know, I like to grill as much as possible! It’s not just because it’s no fun to be cooking in a hot kitchen when I want to be outside — there is something so special about eating fresh, crispy food straight off the grill during the summer.
These chicken and sausage kabobs are loads of fun and super kid friendly and easy to make. You can even get your kids involved in making them by having them thread the pieces onto the skewers.
I like to buy these bamboo skewers, which work well and are inexpensive. You can oven-bake them without skewers too — just mix the hot dogs and chicken with the sauce, arrange on a baking sheet, and bake at 400°F for about 20 minutes, until chicken is cooked through — but the skewers really add to the fun and turn the meal into an event!

Kabobs often have vegetables and other ingredients, but these are so easy to make — no cutting or prepping veggies. Also, everyone loves chicken and hot dogs, so you really can’t lose! (And you won’t have that one kid who refuses to eat them because his piece of chicken touched an onion!)

If you aren’t up for grilling, you can easily make these three-ingredient kabobs in the oven on a baking sheet as well. Just follow the instructions at the bottom of the recipe.
If you’re looking for just the right side, make my oven-baked fries to go along with these kabobs. They’re the perfect combination!
