Sukkos menu template

Sukkos is when I like to go all out and cook as much as I can. There is something so wonderfully cozy about eating delicious, hot comfort foods in a chilly sukkah. Actually, I should rephrase that: There is something so wonderfully cozy about eating delicious, hot comfort foods in a midwestern chilly sukkah. That’s where I almost always spend Sukkos. And while on the East Coast it is usually still quite warm, it’s quite cold by then in Minnesota, where my in-laws live. Recently, we started coming home for second days and even though by then there’s a slight chill in the air in New Jersey, it’s nowhere near as cold!

My mother-in-law prepares the bulk of the food when we go there for Yom Tov. She spends months making the most incredible dishes. But then I am in charge of plugging all the food into the menu — which I do using this practical and user-friendly Sukkos menu template!

Sukkos is a long Yom Tov. Don’t feel pressured to have new, fancy foods at every meal. Focus on easy and hearty crowd-pleasing dishes instead, and you’ll have happy people at your table!

Many of the recipes I make on Sukkos can be found in My Pesach Kitchen cookbook. Even though it’s a Pesach cookbook, the recipes are so versatile, I make many of them all year round!

Happy cooking!
