Another one of my beloved menu templates is here! Every year I contemplate making one master template that can be used for any holiday or any year, but I know it would bother me greatly if I had a menu that had extra rows for a possible three-day Yom Tov and I’d get overwhelmed if there was too much information, which is why I make a new custom template for every Yom Tov. It makes me so happy to be able to help you keep your season stress free in a simple, clean, neat way.
This year, with the first day of each Yom Tov set falling out on Shabbos, Sukkos is easy. (That is, if you find Yom Tov stressful; I’d much rather have more Yom Tov and less Chol Hamoed. The stress of planning Chol Hamoed trips is beyond overwhelming for me!)
Shabbos as one of the days of Yom Tov makes your menu planning a no-brainer — although I keep wondering what would happen if I skipped cholent on Shabbos day and either served yapchik or a slow-cooked roastinstead. I’m not sure that my boys wouldn’t disown me!
In either case, here is a list of ideas that you can plug into your menu that will work for your family!
