2026 Rosh Hashanah menu template

It’s here! My beloved 2026 Rosh Hashanah menu template; something I’ve proudly been creating for years!

The fact that we’re already up to Rosh Hashanah… seriously, where has the time gone?!

Not going to lie, I already have a few round challahs tucked away in my freezer. I make fresh challah every week, but I don’t always need the full five pounds, so sometime in the middle of the summer, I start making half regular challahs and half round ones. A little advance planning never hurts!

I’ll admit, I’m a little disappointed that Rosh Hashanah falls out on Shabbos this year. I love Shabbos, and I love Yom Tov, so I like being able to celebrate each one separately — or at least give me a three-day Yom Tov! Yes, I am that crazy person who genuinely loves a three-day Yom Tov! (I will say, though, this year’s schedule definitely makes the cooking a little easier.)

Now that you have a template, here are some of my favorite Rosh Hashanah recipes to help you start filling in your menu!
