These cheesy Garlic Pizza Sticks are the perfect easy appetizer, snack, or summer dinner side! Homemade pizza dough is brushed with a buttery garlic and parsley mixture, topped with plenty of shredded cheese, and baked until golden and bubbly.
I lived out of town for years where there wasn’t a local kosher pizza shop. Back then, “fresh pizza” meant pulling a frozen boxed pizza out of the freezer and heating up a slice in my toaster oven.
Then one day, a friend insisted I start making my own pizza from scratch. My response? “Noooo… absolutely not!” The thought of working with yeast completely intimidated me. It sounded complicated, messy, and honestly just not worth it.
She didn’t give up. She patiently walked me through the process step by step, and before I knew it, I had my very first homemade pizza coming out of the oven. I couldn’t believe how easy it actually was—or how much better it tasted than anything I had ever made before.
Fast forward to today, and I live in a town with dozens of kosher pizza shops right at my doorstep. But more often than not, I still make pizza at home. There’s just something so satisfying about homemade pizza. The smell of the dough baking, the buttery garlic topping, the gooey melted cheese… it’s one of those recipes that’s simple to make, fun to eat, and always disappears in minutes.
These garlic pizza sticks are simple, fun to pull apart, and always a hit with both kids and adults. Serve them alongside pasta, soup, salad, or your favorite marinara sauce for dipping. You can also save time by using store-bought pizza dough.
