It’s that time of year! Dairy Chanukah Party Recipe Roundup

|

Unsurprisingly, I am always the one in charge of hosting my family Chanukah party — maybe because I beg my siblings to allow me to do it every year! Yes, that’s how much I love making parties! Honestly, I would rather prepare, plan and cook for an entire party then get in a car and travel across the tristate area!

To simplify things for your party, here’s my Chanukah Party Recipe Roundup of all our family favorites. If I’m serving dairy, I pretty much keep to the same menu every year. When I was discussing this year’s menu with my son, I asked him if he thought I should change it up a bit, but he said no! “Ma, you’re famous for your parties. Everyone loves your food. It’s so exciting when people come and know to look forward to the same awesome dishes! Please tell me you’re making your seven-layer dip!”

Whatever you end up doing, whether it’s a huge gathering of 65 family members or a small, intimate party with just your spouse and children, it will be beautiful. Don’t make yourself crazy by overdoing it. Years ago, I used to go all out. By the time I sat down to my party, I was exhausted and burnt out. I learned how to keep the food simple and good — and also have a great time!
