This easy Classic Chocolate Chip Banana Bread is soft, moist, and packed with sweet banana flavor and chocolate chips. A foolproof homemade banana bread recipe that freezes beautifully!

There are certain recipes that every home cook should have tucked away, and a classic banana bread recipe is definitely one of them. I was actually planning my weekly menu the other day and searched my own website for banana bread… only to discover I somehow had a Hazelnut Swirl Banana Bread recipe but not the classic version! How did that happen?
I immediately dug through my Instagram page, found the recipe, and made it my mission to finally give this recipe a permanent home here. After all, if I’m known for simple, reliable recipes, I can’t be missing something as timeless as homemade banana bread!
This banana bread is incredibly moist, comes together in minutes using just one food processor, and is loaded with melty chocolate chips. It’s perfect for breakfast, an afternoon snack, or freezing for later when you need a quick treat.
